The following article contains a list of updates to the eFOB platform - Intelligent Employee e-File.

eFOB 2.54.0 - implementation 10/06/2026​

New features πŸš€

  • Multilingual support / Romanian language: We have completed Romanian language support and multilingual administration configuration.
  • Dashboard / Employees: We have added a new widget showing the number and share of active and inactive employees. This is a quick way to assess the current state of the employee database without going to the employee list.
  • Security / 2FA: We have refreshed the two-factor authentication configuration screens. The new layout guides the user more clearly through activation, handling the code from the authenticator app and decisions related to enabling or skipping 2FA.
  • In-app help: We have completely rebuilt the user help system so that it runs faster and is also available in English. The new Help Center is available at: https://docs.efob.app/

Fixes and minor improvements πŸ› 

  • Administration / Cases: We have refined case type search in the user's language, translations in the case library, document generation status refresh and form change verification.
  • Administration / Folders and document types: We have improved sorting and handling of empty names in administration views, so lists work more reliably even when translation data is incomplete.
  • Employees: We have added sorting by the Active column and organized filter behavior when changing the organization.
  • Permissions and audit: We have improved handling of general permissions for access to modules and data sections, as well as reporting situations where the system encounters an unknown permission.
  • Login: We have improved Microsoft login error handling, including cases with multiple signed-in accounts.
  • Documents / PDF: We have improved PDF preview loading on older iOS devices.

eFOB 2.53.0 – implementation 29/05/2026​

  • Documents / OCR: We have introduced a new OCR mode "Accurate", which increases the quality of automatic document recognition by up to several dozen percent and actually reduces the number of manual corrections when completing metadata. A particularly important novelty is better recognition of handwriting - useful, among others, when scanning forms, statements and documents completed manually. OCR runs locally in the user's browser, and together with automation rules is available at no additional cost for use on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
  • Administration / Permissions / Documents: We have added a separate permission to manage notes on documents. Administrators can more precisely control access to notes without expanding other permissions.
  • Reports / Permissions: We have improved the permission change audit report to make it easier to analyze added and removed accesses.

Fixes and minor improvements πŸ› 

  • Application / Performance: We have updated the technological foundation of the user interface, which paves the way for faster application development, better performance optimization and more efficient support for large modules such as OCR and PDF documents. This is a significant technical change, so it underwent extensive regression and key user scenario testing before implementation.
  • Navigation / Switching organizations: We have improved switching between companies by remembering the current work module. The user returns to the right context faster after changing companies.
  • Documents / Generator: We have improved pattern search by language and folder hierarchy support.
  • Documents / Export: We have improved the launch of document export.
  • Cases / My cases: We have improved sorting and minor mechanisms for stabilizing case views.
  • (waiting for the acceptance/withdrawal decision) Signius electronic signatures: We have changed the positioning of the graphic signature sign, including for multiple signatures.

eFOB 2.52.0 – implementation 22/05/2026​

New features πŸš€- Administration / Cases / Case library: We have implemented the ability to create case types based on ready-made business processes. We have also added export and import of case types, which allows you to transfer no-code document workflows between environments.

  • Documents / Upload files / Rules for automatic creation of metadata: We have introduced an innovative option to build your own rules for automatic completion of metadata, such as document type, date on the document or employee, based on data recognized by OCR.
  • Documents / Add document: We have completely redesigned the document adding screen for ease of use, to make working with files, metadata and advanced options even easier.
  • Administration / Permissions: We have extended the import of permissions to include support for data access roles. This makes it easier to maintain consistent access policies across larger organizations.
  • Dictionaries / Employers and Documents: We have added support for employer expiration dates and better use of employer data in documents. This makes it easier to work with current and historical data, especially in companies changing their names, ownership structure or organizational model.

Early Access/Pilot πŸ§ͺ

  • Languages: We have expanded Romanian language support in the GUI. The function is available on a pilot basis and covers selected areas of the system.
  • Cases / Training: We have made a pilot training module available in eFOB Cases. The module allows you to run training in the SCORM format, save the result of its completion in the case and generate a certificate confirming the completion of the training. We have also prepared a sample "IT security (basics)" training that can be presented to interested organizations. We encourage you to test in practice.

  • Cases/My Cases: We have improved validation in mass updating of cases and when changing the status of cases with generated documents.
  • Signius electronic signatures: we have corrected the position of the graphic symbol in many signatures.
  • Documents/Upload files: We have improved adding documents using the drag & drop method, including support for duplicates and selected file types.
  • Documents/Visual division: We have added more convenient operation of the "Continue" button.
  • Candidates and Employees: We have improved the display of cases in the candidate view and the search for employees in the trash.
  • Security: We have updated selected libraries and dependencies, as well as selected Documents and Administration views, strengthening the usability, stability and security of the platform.

  • Cases / Mass update: We have improved the validation of multiple forms in mass processes, which increases the stability of operations performed on a larger number of cases simultaneously.
  • Document generator / Templates: We have expanded support for functions in HTML templates, enabling the creation of more flexible and advanced documents without the need for additional programming intervention.
  • eFOBSync: We have improved the handling of correspondence addresses when synchronizing employee data, increasing data consistency between systems and reducing the need for manual corrections.
  • Reports/Security: We have refined the effective authorization groups report, which facilitates the analysis of user access and supports organizations in maintaining compliance and data security.

  • Added the possibility of mass signing of documents (Qualified Signature or Facsimile) in many cases of the same type and at the same stage of the process.
  • An extensive configuration of the graphic position of the Facsimile signature has been introduced, along with a preview before signing.
  • Activities – parallel signatures
    • It is now possible to send documents for signature to many people at the same time, which significantly speeds up the approval process.
    • An external signature (e.g. Signius) performed by one person blocks subsequent signatures until it is completed, ensuring security and the correct order of signatures.
    • Data filtering options have been expanded.
