eFOB 2.9.0 – What's new April 2024

On April 29, 2024, the eFOB platform was updated to version 2.9.0. In this article we present a full list of implemented changes and functionalities of eFOB.

The main news this month are:

  • Possibility to import Employees from your HR system via Excel
  • Possibility to export matters (e.g. change of bank account) to your HR system via Excel
  • Context-sensitive help for all windows
  • Version with full Symfonia branding

1. Employee Import: Add or update employees from your HR system to eFOB using Excel​

Now you can add or update Employees to eFOB even more conveniently. All you need to do is export the data from your HR program to an Excel spreadsheet, specify the source fields (defined in Excel) and the corresponding target fields (defined in eFOB), and then simply import the data!

You can save the created definitions and dependencies as a template, saving the settings and using them during the next import.

The new functionality will eliminate errors during import and ensure data consistency in the system.

2. Case Export: Export Cases from eFOB to your HR system using Excel​

Someone changed their bank account or maybe their e-mail address? Need this information in your HR system? Now it is possible, regardless of what the Cause was!

For exporting Cases, we have introduced the ability to define your own column names in the Excel file for any selected employee fields in eFOB. You can also additionally mark the Employee field and the Matter field.

This will allow you to export Cases to Excel with the appropriate columns and then to your HR system.

3. Help: one click and the obstacle is overcome​

  • added a field with error details in case of an export/import error
  • auto-refreshing order status.

  • adding sorting by employer's name
  • bug fixes when adding documents to specific folders.
