eFOB 2.56.0 - News July 2026
We have deployed eFOB 2.56.0. In this version, we focused on security fixes, improved employer suggestions, login scenarios from links for Candidates, signature verification, and OCR performance.
Key changes:
- automatic Employer selection when adding a document based on the document date,
- improved login, where a link from a message leads directly to the relevant case even when selecting an organization is required along the way.
Better employer selection when adding a document
In the single-document upload form, the system can now automatically match the employer to the document date, taking into account the employer validity period.
When there are multiple employers, the list is narrowed down based on the document date. This makes it easier to select the correct entity in organizations where an employee may have changed company, branch, or formal employer over time.
If the selected employer does not match the document period, the user will see a warning. This reduces the number of archiving mistakes and makes it easier to work with historical data.
Improved login for Candidates
In case-related notifications sent to Candidates, the system now redirects directly to the specific case.
This improves the convenience of completing case data, as the Candidate can start working immediately without having to search for the case record in the system.
Fixes and minor improvements 🛠
- Documents / Signatures, mobile, and OCR: We added warnings before using a facsimile signature on files that have already been electronically signed, improved mobile actions on document lists, and reduced OCR startup time.
- Security / Passwords: We standardized the password policy and added an invisible CAPTCHA mechanism on selected screens to protect against bot attacks.
- Training / LMS: We improved the security of launching training courses and access to SCORM resources.
