eFOB 2.39.0 – New November 2025
On November 27, 2025, the eTeczki platform (eFOB) was updated to version 2.39.0. In the latest version, we focused on increasing the security of access to the platform and improving key processes: document import, signatures and synchronization.
Introduction of two-factor authentication (2FA / TOTP)
The most important change in this version is implementation of two-factor security (TOTP).
- All users logging in with a password will be asked to activate 2FA.
- All organization administrators logging in with a password will be required to activate TOTP.
- Depending on the organization's configuration, the system will automatically force 2FA to be enabled also for roles with administrative privileges.
TOTP can be activated using any standard application (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator). 👉 Detailed instructions on the help page: "Two-step security for eFOB eFolds"
Benefits for the user:
- definitely higher level of protection of employee data,
- compliance with security best practices.
Permissions and Users – visibility of administrators
The option has been added to the Permissions and Users module:
- easy check which roles have administrator rights,
- view which users belonging to a given role also inherit administrative rights.
This allows organization administrators to:
- identify accounts requiring TOTP enablement more quickly,
- better manage user safety and responsibility.
Signatures – better support for PDFs with multiple signatures
The system now better handles PDF documents containing many electronic signatures of various types.
Documents – improvements in import and processing
We have introduced a number of improvements that speed up and stabilize work with documents:
Improved document division (manual and automatic)
The process of splitting scanned documents now works:
- faster,
- more precisely,
- more stable with large files and documents of varying quality.
Better 3D code scanning
Improved 3D code recognition even in:
- lower quality scans,
- documents printed very close to the margin.
This means fewer failed reads and fewer manual corrections.
Improved support for employee viewing permissions
Displaying the employee list in the Documents module now follows role configuration and does not cause permission conflicts.
Synchronization – more stable connection with eFOBsync
This version also includes a bug fix for configuring new synchronization with eFobSync.
Other fixes and improvements
There are also many minor bug fixes that affect platform stability and user experience.
