eFOB 2.28.0 – New June 2025

On June 10, 2025, the eTeczki (eFOB) platform was updated to version 2.28.0. In the new version, we focused on expanding the configuration capabilities and usability of Matters and further improving the level of security.

Matters, My matters – more convenient management and greater configuration options

Working with cases now becomes more transparent and intuitive! We have introduced the ability to mark cases with your own tags, making it easier to find a specific case or group them according to individual needs.

We have also improved the views in the "Matters" and "My Matters" modules to make everyday navigation of the system even more ergonomic. The interface has become clearer and key information is now better accessible.

In the new version, we give you control over how Cases work. In the Administration -> Cases module, you can now manage case types and states, adapting their course to the organization's internal procedures.

The new module Administration -> Signatures allows you to define groups of signatures and their types, which facilitates document management and their approval - especially in companies where electronic signature is part of everyday workflow.

New functions in Matters provide greater freedom and help adapt e-File to the unique procedures of each organization, without the need for programming intervention.

Employees – greater transparency

The employee's detailed view has gained the ability to collapse and expand individual sections, which significantly improves the comfort of work - especially when the card contains extensive data. We have also introduced a new field for storing the IBAN number, which allows for safe and orderly management of information necessary in payment processes.

Documents – corrections and improvements

We have identified and fixed a bug that caused permissions related to adding folders to work incorrectly. We have also taken care of the user experience in the event of attempts to open damaged or password-protected PDF files - now the system will inform about the problem with an appropriate message, eliminating unnecessary frustration and guesswork.

New version of eFOBsync

In parallel with eFOB 2.28.0, we are releasing version 0.9.12 of the eFOBsync application. We have introduced improvements to improve stability and optimized communication with the Optima system. Data synchronization is now faster and with less risk of errors.

Retention – configuration fix

For organizations using retention according to PL law, we have improved the behavior of the fields responsible for the deletion date - they will no longer be blocked unnecessarily.

More security

From this version, eFOB only uses connections encrypted with the TLS 1.3 protocol. This means that data transmission in the system meets current security standards, but may not work on very old browsers and devices (e.g. those from before 2020).
