On October 14, 2024, the eFOB platform was updated to version 2.15.0. In the article below we present a full list of implemented changes and functionalities of eFOB.

1. Antivirus scanning of files added to the systemβ
From now on, all documents sent by users to eTeczka are automatically checked for potential threats (viruses, Trojans, etc.), which ensures an even higher level of security of stored data.
The entire scanning procedure is fully automated and runs in the background. After scanning, documents and individual files will be marked with the appropriate status.
Verification with a scanner that detects potential threats works in all places where files are added in the application (Documents, Matters, My Matters).
2. Protection against adding dangerous file extensionsβ
To block the threat of running dangerous files, we have implemented the functionality of managing prohibited extensions.
You can manage the list of prohibited extensions from Administrative Settings.

1. Set/change password: check password strengthβ
When creating or changing a password, the system automatically assesses its strength and informs the user in real time whether the password is sufficiently secure.
This feature was introduced to increase the security of user accounts and prevent the creation of weak, easily guessed passwords.
