Known limitations of the eFOB eFolder

The eFOB eFolder system is constantly being developed to best meet the needs of users and support a wide range of business cases. Due to the technologies used and certain technical limitations, the following known limitations apply.

[Platform] Concurrent data editing (optimistic locking)​

  • The system does not protect against parallel modification of the same data by several users at the same time.

[Platform] Supported browsers​

  • eFOB eTeczka uses Progressive Web App (PWA) technology.
  • Officially supported browser versions are:
    • Chrome: last 10 versions
    • Firefox: last 10 versions
    • Edge: last 4 versions
    • Safari: last 7 versions
    • Android: last 8 versions
    • Chrome Android: last 8 versions
    • Firefox Android: last 8 versions
    • Opera: last 5 versions
    • iOS: last 10 versions
  • New versions of the eFOB eFold are implemented in 2-3 week cycles, so browser compatibility changes dynamically, and the above list is still up to date.
  • For security reasons, eTeczka forces browsers and other client systems to use TLS 1.3 encryption, lower versions are not supported. In practice, this means that browsers (and, for example, phones) released before 2020 will probably not work.

[Platform] Offline support (PM)​

  • The application does not currently support offline - all activities in the application require Internet availability.

[Documents] PDF Scanner – camera support (iPhone)​

  • Camera support is currently not available on iPhone devices.

[Documents] Qualified signatures​

  • Qualified signatures are only supported on stationary devices (laptops, computers) running Windows 10/11.
  • On platforms other than Windows, qualified signatures have not been tested and may not be supported.

[Documents] File size limit​

  • The size of files that can be loaded into the eFolder is limited to 50 MB.

[Templates] Format to convert to PDF and template size limit​

[Employees, Candidates] Dynamic models and attributes​

  • Dynamic models and attributes (in Employees and Candidates) do not support relationships with other objects.

[eFOBsync] Data synchronizer​

  • eFOBsync data synchronizer only works on stationary devices (laptops, computers) with Windows 10/11 and the .NET 8 runtime environment installed.
