Massive change in the state of Affairs

Zaktualizowano 2026-05-28

What is Bulk Case Status Change?

Mass changing the status of issues allows you to update the workflow status of many records at the same time.

This function is particularly useful in situations when we work with a large number of similar or identical Cases - instead of opening each of them separately and performing the same action repeatedly, the entire process can be reduced to a few clicks.

Thanks to mass status changes, it is enough to select selected Matters and indicate the appropriate action, which significantly saves time and minimizes the risk of errors.

⚠️Note: During a mass update, due to limitations, the system currently does not verify whether the Cases contain the required documents or whether all mandatory fields have been completed.

How to mass change state?

Start by going to the Cases module, where the records available to you will appear.

Use the checkboxes for each case to select the records whose status you want to change.

With Matters selected, click the Actions (1) button located in the upper left corner, and then select Update Status (2) from the drop-down menu. NOTE: If you do not select any Case, the "Update Status" option (like other actions) will be unavailable and displayed in gray form.

If the selected Cases include Cases of different types, the system will ask you to select one type. A mass update can only be performed for one case type at a time.

After selecting the Case type, a screen presenting all possible state change operations will be displayed.

As shown on the screen, selected Onboarding - New Hire Cases can be in different states (e.g. "To e-File" or "Verification 2"). To check which Cases are assigned to a given state, simply hover over the number indicating their number.

Select the operation you are interested in. The eFOB system will update all selected Cases and the progress of the operation will be visible on the screen.

After the update is completed, the window does not close automatically, which allows you to immediately perform another status change for the same or other selected Cases.
