Mass data change Cases

Zaktualizowano 2026-05-28

What is Bulk Case Data Change?

Mass change of Case data enables simultaneous editing of selected information in many Cases. The feature includes the ability to update:

  • Tags assigned to the Case;
  • Deadlines for the implementation of Cases;
  • Owner Affairs;
  • Comment on Affairs.

This function is particularly useful in situations when we work with a large number of similar or identical Cases - instead of opening each of them separately and performing the same action repeatedly, the entire process can be reduced to a few clicks.

Thanks to mass status changes, it is enough to select selected Matters and select the appropriate action, which significantly saves time and minimizes the risk of potential errors.

How to mass change data?

First, go to the Cases module, where you will see the records available to you.

Using the checkboxes located next to each Case, select the records whose data you want to change.

With Cases selected, click the Actions (1) button located in the upper left corner, and then select Update Cases (2) from the drop-down menu. NOTE: If you do not select any Case, the "Update Status" option (like other actions) will be unavailable and displayed in gray form.

Unlike Mass change of Case status - eFOB eFolder, selecting Cases belonging to different types does not block their editing. The screen that appears after selecting Update cases will display information about what types of cases have been selected and how many of them are editable and how many are non-editable. To check which specific Cases belong to the detected types, hover your mouse over the number of Editable/Uneditable.

On the mass update screen, you can modify the data of selected Cases in the following areas:

  • Tags – you can find a specific tag in the search field by entering a phrase or select it from the drop-down list.
  • Date – you can enter the date manually or select it from the calendar that will open after clicking the icon on the left side of the field. Additionally, the green Today button allows you to automatically complete the current date.
  • Owner – in the search field you can find a specific user by entering his name or select him from the drop-down list.
  • Comments – after selecting the field, it is possible to enter any text that will be added as a NEW COMMENT to all updated Matters.
